Career Highlights:
My favorite highlight of my time at the Kelce College of Business was being named as one of the University's Outstanding Professors. This award is driven solely by students and is awarded to only three faculty members annually across campus.
I am also very proud of the development of one of our student groups, Women@Work. This organization has won multiple awards, including Outstanding New Organization and Outstanding Organization. We host a luncheon with a workshop and a keynote every March that brings our students together with area and regional professional women.

MBA in Marketing
What do you want students to take away from your classes? What do they learn?
I want students to leave the course understanding that marketing goes far beyond advertising and promotion. They learn that marketing's role in the firm is all about the customer: Who is she? What does she want? How can we provide it? How do we create value for the customer and for the firm?
What advice would you give to those considering your online program?
Those who seem to get the most out of the program are organized, engage with the materials, and stay on top of the workload.
I also think students need to make a commitment to themselves to celebrate their accomplishment – come to commencement!
What is the value of a higher degree in the field in which you teach? What are some of the skills students gain in this program?
The value of a higher degree in marketing and business in general is the improved ability to see the broader picture and to understand not only how things are done but also why.
Why did you start teaching?
When I was working in restaurant management, one of my primary tasks was training and developing employees. While it was my favorite part of my job—and essential—I wanted to be part of changing lives. Teaching can change lives for generations to come.
