I have the privilege of serving as president of the 2025-2026 PSU Faculty Senate. I also serve on 10 non-profit boards, as well as vice president on the Joplin Schools Board of Education. I serve on several city committees and boards and work with three organizations with budgets over $130 million.

To develop a passion for learning, serving, and making life better through education.
What types of projects do your students do in the online courses?
Cases with analysis and application, analyze capital structure and return on investment. I believe in bringing real-world examples into the classroom.

What is the value of a higher degree in the field in which you teach? What are some of the skills students gain in this program?
Finance is needed in every business for decision-making that increases shareholder wealth, cash flow management, and capital budgeting. The skills learned in my class will prepare students professionally and personally.
Why did you start teaching?
Because of my love for helping people achieve their dreams and watching the difference education can make in one’s life.
